Project Sahara
Bringing Hope Through Education

Equipping children and young people for the future

In support of children from economically backward families Life of Vision Foundation is partners with Shaheed Bhagat Singh Girls Inter College Shahabad, Rajkiya Girls Inter College, Satya Pubic School, Udaar Foundation School, Vatsalyam Gurukul School for education of less privileged students from local community between the ages of 3-16 years. The project aims at developing academic aptitude and interest in extracurricular activities for students.

Life of Vision Foundation is dedicated to the cause of literacy in India. By empowering young individual, we serve with functional literacy and an understanding of their basic rights and responsibilities, we strive to be a catalyst for literacy in India.

In Project Sahara we are addressing the following needs:

  • Rising levels of school absenteeism.
  • A severe lack of committed and trained teachers.
  • Lack of suitable facilities.
  • lack of access to hygiene or sanitation facilities
        further ostracizes the children from their classmates,
       prompting their early termination of their studies.

The scope of our projects includes the following

  • Enrollment of out-of-school children
  • Retention of children in school
  • Afternoon Non-formal education programs for youth who cannot go to school
  • Supplemental methods to improve quality of learning
  • After school life coping skills and livelihood training for young adults
  • Functional literacy and art and culture camps

Infrastructure Expansion Our upcoming initiative

  • Monitor enrollment of out-of-schoolkids
  • Functional literacy and livelihood
  • Management of digital, academic vocational infrastructure.
  • Setting up computer lab in the school that serve marginalized
         populations to enable Computer Education.
  • Training for women empowerment
